Class Descriptions
BELLY FIT - Basic Belly Dance moves with Lower Body Strengthening and Core Conditioning. Get Ready to Sweat, Shake and Shimmy yourself into Shape! No dance background required - just bring your bare feet and hips!
CARDIO CHALLENGE/BOOT CAMP - class designed to challenge you with your cardio workout using a variety of equipment – class can be modified for any level.
ZUMBA - easy-to-follow moves to Latin rhythms that will blow you away! One exciting hour of calorie-burning, body energizing, awe-inspiring movements meant to engage your total body!
IMPACT - punch, kick and perform basic combinations using a freestanding bag.
CARDIO KICKBOXING - build strength, speed and endurance with the moves and drills used to train boxers. Heavy bag work mixed with cardio intervals provide a high power, total body workout.
HOT STEPPIN/STEP IT UP - cardio workout using a platform step. Risers can be added to increase the intensity.
PILATES - core conditioning mat workout that will tone your entire body.
POWER PUMP - power pump/total body toning.
POWER STRIKE/KICKBOXING - high intensity kickboxing class using a series of kicking and punching combinations to the beat of energizing music. Powerstrike was voted “one of the best exercise classes in the country” by SHAPE magazine.
SPINNING - a non-impact, high calorie burn, studio cycling class. Participants should bring a towel and water bottle to class – a great class for all levels!
STEP INTERVALS - step workout with toning and/or cardio exercise intervals designed to burn calories and strengthen the body.
STEP ’N KICK - step workout with kickboxing intervals – a great way to work both your upper and lower body.
YOGA - incorporates relaxation, breathing, strength and flexibility to help achieve total mind-body health and well-being – enjoy a healthy, positive relaxation experience.
